Houma /Bulgarian clay/ (from the Latin name: "humus") is a kind of whitish oily clay, widely used as a cosmetic and hygienic means.
Houme /Bulgarian clay/ is a component of many finished cosmetic masks for skin and hair, but is sold separately (a fine powder) for home cooking.
Is usually mixed with water, yogurt, egg yolk, honey, fat or lemon juice.
Masks with clay are particularly recommended for oily or withered skin, and oily hair, add shine and volume.
