Other ingredients: purified water, sacharose, preservatives (methyl- and propyl-parahydroxybenzoate).

Action:

ALTEA SIRUP contains as active ingredient, a mucilage components isolated from marshmallow root which have healing properties on mucosa in upper respiratory tract.

Mucilage components represent a complex of polysaccharides with ability to bind water molecules and expand by forming viscous layer which spreads over respiratory mucosa, acting as emollient and protective agent. In this way, mucilage components have beneficial effect on cough relief.

Usage:

ALTEA SIRUP is a natural product, helpful for cough soothing in case of mucosal inflammation and irritation of respiratory tract, which is manifested by dry, provocative coughing without secret production.

Method of use:

Adults: 1 table spoon (15 ml) 3 times daily.
Children above 2 years: 1 tea spoon (5 ml) 3 times daily.

Precaution:

Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.

ALTEA SIRUP should not be used by persons with known hypersensitivity to any ingredient of this product.
This syrup contains sugar and therefore it is not recommended for people with diabetes.
