Ginger essential oil is obtained by steam distillation from the roots of the Zingiber Officinale plant. Direct application on the skin is not recommended.
Ginger essential oil has a distinctive pungent aroma that can be described as strong, warm, spicy. As such, it is often used in aromatherapy. Ginger oil can also be used in various skin and hair care applications.
