Linden is a tall and branched tree with a dense crown. The leaves are alternate with an irregular heart shape. The flowers are collected in partial shade. The inflorescences of the small-leaved and medium-leaved linden are small, usually 5-7, even up to 15 flowers, and the large-leaved linden has 2-5 large flowers.
