Tilia
Tillia tomentosa Moench
High trees branched with a dense crown. The leaves are consecutive with irregular heart shape. Colors are collected in the mid-spring. Inflorescences are small, usually 5-7, even up to 15 blooms, and large 2-5 large flowers.
Tilia argentea Desf. is the most widespread in Bulgaria. The other two species are less common in the forests, on the rocky slopes of the foothills and the mountains. They are also grown as decorative trees.
The inflorescences are used with and without the pruners gathered during flowering.
Silver linden - dried inflorescences
Application: as an aid in stomach pain, fever, respiratory disorders, laryngitis, headache, epilepsy, hysteria, rheumatism, skin rashes, diarrhea, etc.
Method of preparation: Add 1 pinch of the herb in 500 ml of hot water and leave for 15 minutes. The finished drink is drunk in 3 equal parts the day before meals.
