Organic Amalaki (Amla), Maharishi, 60 capsules

Amalaki, also known as Amla or Indian gooseberry is a rich source of vitamin C and bioflavonoids. It has been used in numerous Ayurvedic formulations since ancient times.

Characteristics:

- Amalaki contains five of the six tastes in Ayurveda (excluding salty) viz. sweet, sour, spicy, bitter and astringent.
- According to Ayurveda, it balances the three doshas of the body (Tridoshik) as well as the digestive fire (Agni) and strengthens Ojas.
- Amalaki is “Kashaya” (astringent), “Ruksha” (dry) and cooling in nature (“Sheetal”).

Purpose:

Antioxidant. Supports the immune system. Cleanses the body of toxins.

Ingredients:

Composition of recommended daily dose (2 capsules):
Amalaki (Emblica officinalis): 1200 mg

Other ingredients: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (vegetable capsule).

Suggested Use:

Take 2 capsules twice a day with water.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Not to be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
