Usage:
The gray-green clay is suitable both for beauty and as a supplement to medical procedures and can be used by people with extremely oily skin and hair. There are several basic rules that it is desirable to observe when using clay, for cosmetic masks and healing compresses.
- To keep its composition unchanged and its properties, DO NOT use metal utensils and dishes. Use a plastic or wooden spoon as well as a glass, porcelain, or wooden bowl.
- Always prepare your face and hair masks, as well as the healing baths, immediately before use.
- When applying the face mask, avoid the area around the eyes.
- Do not let the clay mixture dry on your hair, face, or skin, as this will dehydrate it, and huma also works when wet. Water can be periodically sprayed with a sprayer.
- The water you add to the masks should not be hot or cold.
Tips for use:
Face mask: The clay is mixed with water in a glass or wooden container with a wooden spoon (not metal). Make a homogeneous mixture and apply to the face for 5 to 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. If necessary, a moisturizing cream can be applied according to the skin type.
Washing your face with clay water will also keep your skin free of wrinkles and other imperfections for a longer time.
Hair mask:
1. For normal to oily hair: pour 15 g of clay with 5 ml of lemon juice until a slurry is obtained. The hair is smeared and after 20 minutes it is washed abundantly with water.
2. For any type of hair: dissolve 15 g of clay in 10 ml of water (infusion of nettle and ivy), you can add 1 egg yolk to this mixture. The roots of the hair are smeared for 15-20 min. Then the hair is washed.
3. For exhausted (damaged), curly, and dyed hair: mix 30 g of clay with 15 g of yogurt and 15 g of honey. You can add 3-5 drops of vitamin A. The hair stays for an hour and a half with this mixture, after which it is washed abundantly with water.
Clay water:
Pour 1 teaspoon of clay into 200 ml water. It is mixed with a wooden spoon and left overnight.
Compresses for external use:
For wounds, infections, and inflammations: a compress is made by putting clay paste on a soft natural textile 2 or 3 cm thick. The compress is applied to the sore spot, fixing it with a bandage so that it does not move.
Duration - 1 to 3 hours per day.
Never use the same compress twice because it contains toxins.
The clay is best stored in a glass jar exposed to direct sunlight to preserve its beneficial properties.
