Bloody geranium is widely used in Bulgarian traditional medicine to treat various infections and inflammatory conditions. The plant is well known for the relief of pruritus, itches and skin lesions and is used for a disinfectant bath and as an anti-anemia agent.

Our days researches was shown that bloody geranium tinctures inhibit the reproduction of influenza A and B viruses and herpes viruses type 1 and type 2 in vitro. The herb exerts an overall virus - inhibitory effect.

Bloody geranium is well known anti-anemia herb – it stimulates the red blood cell production and demonstrates hepatoprotective activity.

Ingredients:

Standardized water-ethanol extract (62-68%) of Bloody geranium /Geranium sanguineum/.

Content of daily dose: 720 mg Bloody geranium

Suggested Use:

Take 40 drops dissolved in 50 ml of water or juice, up to 3 times a day.
