Aleppo natural soap is an authentic product that is produced according to an old recipe from the VIII century, and it is the oldest, hard soap in the world. It inherited the traditions of the Phoenicians, who until then had semi-liquid soap.

Aleppo soap is made from olive oil and laurel oil. It does not contain additives, preservatives and perfumes. The product does not contain mineral or animal fats.

Aleppo soap is made by hand from olive oil and laurel oil. The olive oil and laurel oil are mixed and boiled to 200 C, then water and caustic soda (extracted from sea salt) are added for the soaping process, after which the mixture is poured into special places for hours, after which the soap is cut into pieces and allowed to dry for several months, covered with fine paper, then ready for sale.

Laurel oil:

The plant is an archaic plant species that has grown since the ancient, supercontinent of Gondwana. Laurus Nobilis is one of the few plant species that has survived a long-forgotten geological era.

Laurel was mentioned and revered by ancient civilizations for its mystical and healing properties. Wearing a laurel leaf was reserved for the noblest of nobles.
