Healing effect

Black and brown mustard seeds are used as a choleretic agent and in acute diseases of the upper respiratory tract. In these cases, take internally 1 very small teaspoon 3 times a day of the following mixture: 1 equal teaspoon of finely ground mustard seed and 100 grams of honey, which are mixed well.
Medicinal mustard
To obtain mustard, and also as a preservative, white mustard is mainly used. Its seeds are whitish and almost as large as those of black and brown mustard. The best mustard is made from the seeds of white mustard. White mustard essential oil is odorless, volatile, and causes severe skin burns.
Mustard is made by grinding the seeds coarsely and cold-pressing them to remove the fatty oil. All types of mustard are antidiabetic.
