Inactive nutritional yeast Vital Complex is produced by fermenting Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast in a molasses medium. The yeast is then deactivated, dried, and milled into flakes. The product has a pleasant nutty flavor and is naturally rich in B-group and vitamin D, choline, zinc, protein, and dietary fiber.
