Chicory, herbal tincture, Bioherba, 50 ml

Chicory (Cichorium intybus) is a perennial herbaceous plant growing 30–120 cm tall, with angular, branched stems covered with fine hairs. The basal leaves are hairy, pinnately divided, and arranged in a rosette, while the stem leaves are elongated, lance-shaped, and toothed. The flowers are sky-blue, 3-4 cm across, grouped in flower heads at the stem tops. The root is spindle-shaped and fleshy.

Chicory is traditionally known to stimulate appetite and support healthy digestion. It has a calming effect on the central nervous system, enhances heart activity by increasing contraction amplitude, and promotes bile secretion.

In Bulgarian folk medicine, chicory has been used to aid digestion, as a choleretic in cases of jaundice, gallstone disease, indigestion, and related conditions.

Ingredients:

Base: Purified water, organic glycerin

Active substances: Chicory (Cichorium intybus, stalk, extract), Chromium (chromium picolinate).

Content per daily dose (2 × 1.4 ml):

Chicory extract: 140 mg
Chromium: 40 μg

Suggested Use:

Take 1.4 ml twice daily (2 × 35 drops), diluted in water.

The indicated recommended daily dose should not be exceeded. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. Not recommended for children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women. Keep away from small children. The product is not organically certified according to Regulation (EU) 2018/848.
