Einkorn is one of the earliest cultivated forms of wheat. Grains of wild einkorn have been found in excavations dating from the epipaleolithic region of the Middle East, known as the Fertile Crescent.
Einkorn has several advantages over wheat. One of them is that einkorn is not sick. This allows it to be grown without pesticides and herbicides.
