The plant is a perennial grass with a height of 25-50 cm and a woody root that can reach 5 m in length. Red root contains active ingredients such as tannins, triterpene amino acids, bioflavonoids, which color the alcohol extract in bright red color.

Recommended as a tonic. It can be used as a stimulant for fatigue, general weakness and weak immunity.
