The species is not protected - it is widely distributed throughout Bulgaria.

Perennial herbaceous plant. The height of the plant above the ground is 20 to 80 cm. The stem is upright, strongly branched from the base. The overhead part is a ball-shaped form. The base leaves of a three-pronged handle, with prickly teeth on the edge. The stem leaves are squatted and cover the stem, sparse and prickly. Colors collected in crowded inflorescences. Blooms June-August.

The plant grows on dry grassy places - pastures, dry meadows, along roads and other areas affected by human activity, also as a weed in different crops.

Can be used in: cough, skin diseases, airway cataracts, difficulty urinating, kidney disease, prostatitis.

Method of preparation: 2 tablespoons of the herb are boiled for 10 minutes at 500g. Water. Precipitated teaspoon is drunk 1 glass 3 times a day before meals.
