White mulberry

Other names: Common mulberry and Silkworm mulberry
The homeland of the white mulberry is East Asia and more precisely the territory of today's countries China, Korea and Japan. The plant is grown as a fruit crop and has been cultivated since Antiquity. The white mulberry was brought to Europe in the 10th-12th century. The plant was brought to Bulgaria in the 11th century.
Bulgarian folk medicine uses mulberry leaves as a diuretic, hypoglycemic and sedative. The herb is used for diabetes, bronchitis, constipation, etc.
Mulberry - dried leaves
Application: as an aid for gastrointestinal changes, chronic constipation, diabetes mellitus, menstrual disorders, etc.
Merhod of preparation: Add 1 tablespoon of the herb to 500 ml of hot water and leave for 1 hour. It is filtered and drunk in 3 equal parts during the day before meals.
