The herb grows on the dry grassy and stony slopes and among the bushes mainly in the foothills of Bulgaria.

In Bulgarian folk medicine the blood geranium is used in anemia of different nature, cirrhosis of the liver, in infertility, as well as in the strengthening of the muscles of the heart (together with nettle roots), in the sand and stones of the kidneys and the urinary tract, initial tuberculosis , Malaria and others.

Application: as an aid in anemia, cirrhosis, renal sediments, myocarditis, etc.

Method of preparation:
Add 1 tablespoon of the herb in 500 ml of hot water. Boil for 5 minutes. Strain and drink in 3 equal parts during the day before meals.
