Zdravnica’s Black Elderberry Syrup is crafted according to a traditional Bulgarian homemade recipe, used for generations to support the immune system and strengthen overall health. Black elderberry (Sambucus nigra) is one of the most valued medicinal herbs in Bulgarian folk medicine. The renowned healer Petar Dimkov recommended black elderberry to boost immunity, prevent colds and flu, and generally strengthen the body. He regularly used it to prevent and relieve viral and bacterial infections, recognizing its remarkable health benefits.

Recipe History:

Our syrup follows a time-honored method passed down through generations: layers of black elderberries are alternated with layers of sugar. In our modern adaptation, white sugar is replaced with fructose, making the product suitable for people with diabetes. This careful process ensures that each berry releases its full spectrum of beneficial compounds, including vitamins, antioxidants, and natural antibacterial agents.

Health Benefits:

Elderberry syrup of "Zdravnitza" is a powerful immunostimulator. It has a beneficial effect on colds and kidney diseases, to normalize high blood pressure, against acute cough, gout, hemorrhoids, anemia. Due to the high content of vitamin C in the fruit, elderberry syrup is suitable for smokers and people with weakened immunity.

Usage:
