Perennial herbaceous plant with a bare, leafless flowering stem, 10-15 cm high, and leaves collected in the basal rosette. The leaves have short stalks, lanceolate. The flowers are small, whitish. It blooms in May and August.
It grows in meadows and pastures in dry grassy and sandy places. It is found all over Bulgaria.
The leaves, seeds and fresh juice are used.
