Arnica is an extremely suitable for cultivation of healing, ethereal and copper plant in the climatic conditions of Bulgaria, but, unfortunately, absolutely unknown as such in our country.
Very rarely found in rural gardens as a decorative plant. His homeland is the mountains of Spain and France. In the whole of Western Europe, this plant is among the most cultivated in culture as a curative and yet its demand for the herbal market does not diminish.
Arnica is a perennial herbaceous plant with a short, cylindrical rhizome, reddish-brown in color.
From this rhizome comes a large number of thin roots. The stem is tall and hairy. Colors are yellow-orange, collected in baskets at the top of the stem. Blooms in May-September. Different from marigold! The whole plant has a strong and pleasant smell.
Attention! The whole plant is poisonous!
