Branched shrub or tree, 1.5-4 m high. The bark of old stems and branches is cracked, and the young is smooth, gray-brown with a reddish tinge. The flowers are white gathered in inflorescences at the top. It blooms in May-June.

It grows in the bushes and forests, along the streams in the foothills and mountain belt of Bulgaria.

The bark of the stems and branches collected in early spring is used.

Method of preparation: 1 teaspoon of the herb is added to 500 ml of water and boil for 3 minutes. Strain and drink in 3 equal portions the day before meals.
