Perennial herbaceous plant with a thin, long, branched rhizome. The leaves have long stalks, almost round, 10-20 cm in diameter, heart-shaped at the base. The flowers are golden yellow - the ends are lingual and the middle ones are tubular. At the top of each stem is formed a flower basket, up to 2 cm in diameter. It blooms from February to April.

It grows in wet places, most often along the banks of rivers and streams, as well as in wet fields throughout Bulgaria.

Application: as an aid in cough, bronchitis, laryngitis, lung abscess, heartburn, menstrual pain, etc.

Method of preparation: Add 1 tablespoon of the herb in 500 ml of hot water and leave to soak for 30 minutes. Strain and drink in 3 equal parts the day before meals.
