Kochia is an annual plant - weed, which reaches 1.2 meters in height. The leaves are gray-green with a length of up to 60 mm. and width up to 10 mm. The leaves are usually covered with moss. The plant blooms from July to December.

The plant comes from Eurasia and is often found along roads and fields.

Traditional Chinese medicine uses the plant as an aid in hyperlipidemia, hypertension, obesity and atherosclerosis.

Method of preparation: Put 2 tablespoons of the herb in 500 ml of hot water and leave for 15 minutes. Strain and drink in 3 equal parts the day before meals.
