Directions for use:
Add up to 30% of the total flour quantity in gluten-free flour blends.
For thickening: dissolve the starch in a small amount of cold water before adding it to a hot liquid.
Sample recipes:
Gluten-free bread with potato starch
Ingredients:
300 g gluten-free flour
100 g potato starch
1 packet dry yeast
1 tsp salt
350 ml warm water
Instructions:
Mix the dry ingredients, add the water, and stir until a sticky dough forms. Let it rise for about 1 hour. Bake at 180°C for 40-45 minutes.
Cream soup thickened with starch
Add 1 tbsp potato starch dissolved in cold water to a prepared vegetable soup. Stir until thickened - you will achieve a velvety texture without the need for cream.
Crispy chicken bites
Coat chicken pieces in potato starch, spices, and a pinch of salt. Fry in hot oil until golden. The result - an irresistibly crispy crust and juicy interior.
Pancakes with a delicate texture
Add 1-2 tbsp potato starch to a standard pancake batter. This will make them lighter and more tender.
