Wild licorice
Astragalus glycyphyllos L.
Other names: liquorice milkvetch, wild liquorice
Perennial herbaceous plant, from the base, strongly branched with upward or downward, 30-100 cm long, striated strips of twigs. The leaves are short-handed, non-moose. The flowers are yellow-green, gathered in grapefruit inflorescences. The fruit is 3-4 cm long, sickle-curved beans. Blooms in June-August.
It grows in bushes and forest meadows mainly in foothills and mountains all over Bulgaria up to 1800 m above sea level.

Application: in case of stomach and intestinal pain, painful and irregular menstruation. Anti-inflammatory and soothing.
Method of preparation: Boil 1 tablespoon of the herb for 3 minutes in 500 ml of hot water. Strain and drink in 3 equal portions during the day before eating.

the quality seems to be very good. it is a pity, that the packeging is so small. i wish there would be a bigger version as well.
