European dewberry
Rubus caesius L.
Prickly, bushy plants with long sloping or climbing stems and well-developed rhizomes. The flowers are white, gathered in racemes. The cup is five-part. The fruit is aggregated, consisting of a large number of fleshy stone fruits. Its taste is sour and has a pleasant smell. It blooms from May to August.
It grows in forests, bushes, meadows, on foothills and mountain slopes throughout Bulgaria.
The leaves and roots are used for medicinal purposes. The leaves are collected in summer and the roots from September to November.

Application: as an aid in gastrointestinal disorders, gynecological changes, diabetes, heavy menstruation, etc.
Method of preparation: Put 1 tablespoon of the herb in 500 ml of hot water and leave for 30 minutes. Strain and take in 3 equal parts the day before meals.
