   Greater celandine
 Chelidonium Majus L.
Perennial herb with orange milky sap. The stems are branched, 30-60 cm high. The leaves are pinnately divided, green above, gray-green below. The flowers are yellow, gathered 2-6 in inflorescences with long stalks. The corolla is four-leafed and the stamens are numerous. The fruit is a 3-5 cm long single-celled pod-shaped box.
It grows in stony, moist, shady places, in bushes and sparse forests throughout Bulgaria.
The stalks are used. Gather the entire aboveground part shortly before flowering.
Greater celandine - dried stralk
Application: as an aid in stomach pain, liver disorders, bile sediments, bacterial infections, etc.
Method of preparation: Put 1 teaspoon of the herb in 500 ml of hot water and leave for 30 minutes. Strain and drink in 3 equal parts the day before meals.
