Tilia argentea Desf.

High trees branched with a dense crown. The leaves are consecutive with irregular heart shape. Colors are collected in the mid-spring. Inflorescences are small, usually 5-7, even up to 15 blooms, and large 2-5 large flowers.

Tilia argentea Desf. is the most widespread in Bulgaria. The other two species are less common in the forests, on the rocky slopes of the foothills and the mountains. They are also grown as decorative trees.

The inflorescences are used with and without the pruners gathered during flowering.

Tilia (linden) - dried herb

Application: an aid in respiratory diseases, temperature conditions, rheumatic pain and neuritis.

Method of preparation: pour a pinch of the herb with 400ml of boiling water. Filter the decoction and drink one tea-cup three times a day before meal.
