The rose hip is a shrub with straight or curved stems, reaching a length of 3 m and covered with hard prickly, sickle-shaped curves. Flowering stems are sometimes without spines. The flowers are pink or white. The fruits are monoecious nuts, enclosed in a fleshy flower bed, which grows and forms a bright red, ovoid to spherical fruit - rose hips. It blooms in May-July, and the fruits ripen in autumn.

Method of preparation:
Pour 40 g of rose hips with 500 ml of boiling water. Leave to soak for 6 hours. Strain before use. It can be sweetened with honey, maple syrup, stevia or another natural sweetener.
