Levander
Lavandula angustifolia Mill.
Highly branched, 30-80 cm tall semi-shrub with numerous ascending or standing stems. Flowering branches are four-stranded. The leaves are opposite. The flowers are blue-violet, gathered 6-10 in false vertebrae, forming classy inflorescences. Blooms July-August.
Lavender is grown mainly in Karlovo and Kazanlak, Bulgaria and also in other regions of the country with altitudes up to 1000 m.
The colors and the resulting essential oil are used.

Application: as an aid in insomnia, migraines, cardiac neurosis, gastritis, colitis and more.
Method of preparation: Pour 1 tablespoon of the herb with 500 ml of hot water. Leave on for 30 minutes and strain. Drinks in 3 equal portions during the day before meals.
